Contemplating some sewing...

We have one side of the kitchen cabinets in place and the other half ready to take up with us now. This now leaves not much in the major things to do to finish the house.

Beginning to think of window covering, whilst the light is lovely we will need some shade at times.

Sun blinds, maybe some blackout blinds and in places some soft curtains to whip up.

Not a sewing weekend - but is that any surprise?

Here we go - the bathroom fit out is now well underway. The final finish will not be blue - but gloss white.

Little update on progress - full steam ahead.

All painted and floors sealed and the bathroom coming along - that will be the focus of next weeks activities - if we are lucky the 4 doors may go on or at least the frames might.

Lick of sealer coat makes a world of difference

It is amazing to see just how much difference a lick of paint makes.

Tanks - just rain now please...

We have now got our rainwater tanks. Just preying for some rain, something tells me we won't have to wait too long as the forecast is looking that way and we are just getting into winter…

We have rooms.

Time for a post! we have some real rooms now. Next couple of weeks we will the rest of the plaster hung and the water tanks installed.

We are almost done with Verandahs!

Just a few more boards - Rails etc. Next we will do the ceilings and wait for the Windows to be delivered.

 

Shock another post

Actually it is the ceiling of the East side verandah or at least most of it, we had planned to push on with the decking however we hit a little snag - no timber available from our local stockist!.

This looks good and needed doing and as we had completed most of that side of the floor we were able to do this job, yet another stupid hot day.
